Investigation of the fire effect on the behavior of corrugated steel plate shear walls considering environmental aspects

Abstract Fire can be an adverse event with tangible costs for property and human life. In addition to its physical costs, fire has a range of obvious consequences on the environment. One fire’s outcomes is effect structures. Corrugated Steel Plate Shear Walls (SPSWs) are environmentally friendly since they manufactured in factory, reducing environmental disturbance around construction site, also, easily dismounted recycled. this paper, behavior corrugated SPSWs was investigated numerically parametrically. so doing, hysteresis system before (at ambient temperature) after applying investigated. For parametrical study, thickness (t) length-to-height ratio (ω=L/H) infill plate were ultimate strength, stiffness, yielding SPSW system. The finite element (FE) results showed that by increasing as well ratio, improved. Also, indicated affects over wall curve; additionally, stiffness affected fire. It proposed account reduction factor 0.4 strength.
